Uniqonixs is part of Iqonixs Branding & Marketing - a boutique consulting agency with the aim to create iconic brands that build lasting relationships with their consumers.

About The Founder

Iqonixs & Uniqonixs are founded by Niels van Geet. Born in the Netherlands, Niels studied International Business at the Tilburg University and the Deusto Business School (Bilbao, Spain), specialising in Marketing. He moved to Italy in 2004, where he started his career at Unilever, in the global innovation centre, where he was part of the project team responsible for the biggest success in Oral Care: the launch of White Now.

After several successful years, he moved to London as European Brand Manager of the >1 billion€ brand Lipton Ice Tea, forming the basis for his profound understanding and love for building impactful brands with a strong cultural relevance.

In 2012, he moved back to Italy, to become part of global team of the world's most iconic eyewear brand Ray-Ban, where he gradually took leadership of the worldwide brand management & communication. During his leadership the brand obtained an all time high brand health whilst growing the business with over 60%.

Since 2023, Niels is also active as strategic marketing teacher at the European Institute of Design (IED), where the idea of Uniqonixs was born.

Brands & Collaborations

Throughout his career, he had the privilege to lead innovation and brand management for brands like Ray-Ban, Lipton Ice Tea, Persol, Mentadent, Signal, as well as Oliver Peoples & Alain Mikli

In these roles, he also created collaboration programs with inspiring partners such as Ferrari, Netflix, Stone Island and JWA.

The Spark

Whilst growing into his corporate - and later consulting - roles, Niels realised that experience comes with a trap: the maturer one becomes, the further away one gets from thinking outside the box. On top, cultural change becomes something we read about or study rather than live and experience. This is why the Uniqonixs program has been brought to live.

Working with game-changing IED students allows us to bring something to the table, that experienced managers can only dream of. On other hand, our job as project leaders is to ensure to give professional guidance to the students, keeping them on track to go above & beyond to deliver innovative solutions to our clients’ briefs.
